Welcome friends to Greatest Reviews Dot Net. This blog was started to review products, e-books and services available online (both paid and free). It was started as an experiment. After one month I was satisfied wit its performance and included other niche topics into it. Now it is a multi-topic blog including Software and Hardware reviews, Blogging tips and tricks, SEO/Traffic advices and help, Tutorials, Money making etc.

Below is the small history from the start of the blog to current time.

13th February 2008: The day the blog started as a blogging experiment/project. I decided to give reviews. I decided the blog name as Greatest Reviews with tagline Your Online Reviews. Then my blog was present @ greatestreviews.blogspot.com.

1st – 10th July 2008: Bought new domain name greatestreviews.net and hosting plan. I worked hard for 50 hrs despite of fever and successfully transferred my blog from blogger to Self Hosted WordPress. Now my blog was on new domain so I renamed my blog to Greatest Reviews Dot Net. I put the dot net so people do not visit the dot com domain. In few days I decided for new tagline.

August 2008 – November 2008: I got admission to IIT Kharagpur (one of the top technology institutes in India) and hence came the study pressure. Also my hosting was going to expire soon. I asked my visitors what to do. Most advised me to study and if possible make a comeback later on. Well I follow and appreciate my visitors’ advice so I stopped blogging till end of November 2008.

December 2008: I decided to restart my blogging. Luckily I had backup my posts and blog data properly. This time I had to get a hosting service which will be easy to pay and also reliable. I did some research contacted many web hosting services even talked with them with phone. I finally got results. Bought hosting for one year and transferred my domain to new host.

4th January 2009: The New Year Come back happened. When I posted my first post of the year I was so happy. I immediately got two blogger friends visiting me. I feed burner subscribers also did not decrease much.

Currently: Happily blogging and improving my blog.
