You may be wondering ‘Why a Anti-Keylogger?’. Hmm! actually thats a stupid question to ask. Any ways the answer to this is quite simple – ‘because your personal data is not safe’. People do many things to increase the security of their computer. They install the best anti virus programs, install strong firewalls and even extra security softwares like anti-spywares or anti-adwares.

But they forget one of the most important security pitfalls, Keyloggers. Keyloggers are alien (not extra-terrestrial) programs which basically record all the letters, words or sentences you type. These programs can easily slip through the scanners of anti virus and other security programs.You type your username and password on Yahoo or Gmail, this program reads everything you write and send the data to the person who made the Keylogger. Wow! a long list of features isn’t it? I have used Tweet Deck quite often and I love to update my Twitter through it. Basic advantage is that it is a real time application. What I mean to say is you are notified of new tweets, direct messages or replies from your friends in real time. Games - Oh! Ya!. One of the words kids and teens love to hear and these days kids and teens seek all types of computer games and stuffs. I am not much of game freak but I still play computer games for few hours. I have been playing NFS Most Wanted for few days. I currently play it on my Laptop which is no way for gaming. Its an entertainment Laptop (for movies – wide screen) but it can at least handle games like Far Cry and NFS Most Wanted.

Now playing such heavy games used to crash my Laptop, so I needed to find a solution to not crash my Laptop and be able to enjoy gaming for hours. And I got it. It was almost magical as my Laptop was able to withstand the pressure. I got this small program to boost my Gaming. Its just 1 MB (821.77 KB to be precise) and its a freeware. It is called Game Booster (quite simple to guess) and is from IObit – the maker of the famous Advanced System Care – one of the best free system utility and Smart Defrag – the best free windows defragmentation program.

This program is totally safe and is based on a simple theory – Games need resource (CPU and RAM). So this program give the games what they need. Let me explain it in tutorial mode.

Below is the screen shot of Game Booster. When you start Game Booster you get the following windows. You need to click the big button “Switch to Gaming Mode!“. What it does is it stops the unnecessary windows service. It stops windows service which are not necessary for running games for example windows time, windows search, windows error reporting etc.

When you click the “Switch to Gaming Mode!” button the window shown below pops up. It asks you if you want to stop background programs. As most of these programs are needed for gaming you can close them. It will not only be saving more RAM but also CPU resources which may be getting utilized in background.

The best I got was 172MB (I have 1 GB Ram only). Now you are ready to start your game. You will find your game loading faster and giving better FPS and stability.

In Gaming Mode, you internet will still work as Internet is needed for multiplayer games. When you are done with you gaming. Just click “Back to Normal Mode” and every service and program which was stopped will start again.

I am very impressed with the program. It uses a basic theory. I just imagine why didn’t any one else tried it (I do not know of any other such programs). I bet most of you have heard of the new Nokia N97. Nokia N97 is the latest in N-Series from Nokia and by far the best. I have been eying on this awesome machine for many months, waiting for its release. Now the time has come, Nokia N97 is going to make its entry. It is rumored to enter into market next month. Well thats no rumor any more as it is to come to market next month i.e. June 2009. It will probably be in US market by 2nd June and in Indian market by 21st June.

Nokia N97 is already available for pre-buy on Nokia’s US website. It comes in two colors Black and White. You can have a look of it in above picture. It is priced at 699$ (thats really cheap – why? Read more on next paragraph). I checked out if its available on Amazon or not. Viola! Amazon has listed it and it is priced 603.99$. Thats more cheap. What is so good about the new Nokia N97?

In simple words Nokia N97 = Business Phone (QWERTY Keyboard and Emails) + IPhone (Touch Screen) + Nokia N96  + Much more (Video Calls etc). Lets get little technical about N97. Nokia N97 is the latest errant in Mobile market thus is bound to have the best technology in it. I will not compare N97 with mobiles of other company. All mobiles have their edge over others. Nokia N97 is like a box containing everything you can Imagine. It is priced really low. You remember I called it cheap. When N96 came, it was priced at 705$ (now it is 579$), when you compare N97 price with it you can know N97 is cheaper considering its better features. And do not forget its a Touch Screen mobile. It may become IPhone killer. I advice you to go to Nokia’s Website and check out the Tech Specs.

Nokia N97 is a nice piece of machine. If you are a gadget lover, it will be one of your best buys, if you are a business phone user then why not try it out – you get more then just your normal business phone. So if you are to buy a new phone and have that much sum of money (600$ – Buy from Amazon) then go for it.

By the way there is a good news for Indian People. Some of you might already know that I recently (45 days ago) bought a Seagate Free Agent Desk 1TB External Hard Drive. I wrote a small review (not really, as it was 861 words). I then bumped into a contest open only to residents of India asking what creative use I can think of for Seagate hard drives. I thought of participating in the contest as I was eligible. Also one of the commentators asked me how I am going to use 1TB of space. I was going to write the answer to the above questions as soon as possible but my Greatest Blog Contest Kept me busy. Now I am little free so I can go about answering these questions.

First of all I will answer to commentator’s question.

It’s going to be easy for me. Now most people use External Drive for Data Backup and so do I. I backup the whole drive of my laptop. It takes 100 GB of space. So I am left with 831 GB of space to utilise. Oops! Sorry I forgot to mention 1TB Hard Drive has 931GB space. I like to leave 150 GB (more than 15%)  free so that the hard disk performs well and there no lags. Thus I am left with 681GB only. That is pretty huge amount of space for personal use. I use nearly 400GB to store Movies, Songs and Anime Series etc. These are all the gifts of my Institute LAN. At last only 281 GB is left. Now it time to think of using it creatively.

Time to answer the contest question.

281GB for creative use, sorry I got it wrong its creative use of 281GB. So what is it, hmm! The reality is that it not creative but productive or so as to saymoney earning. I rent the space so that my friends can keep some of their data safe. I won’t say the charges here. I feel it’s a creative use of my External Hard Drive. This was the use of space. Now here is the most creative use of my external hard drive, night lamp. Night Lamp? Ya! I told in my review I love its light. I use it as night lamp when my room mate sleeps and I have to switch off the lights. As I am still working on my Laptop, this light brightens my keyboard a little more or at least lightens the area to help me see they keyboard more clearly.

Friends this as not all, I use the Packaging Box creatively as well. I put it on the desk and keep some of my stuffs above it so that it does not mix with other stuffs on the table. I use the protective covering more creatively than someone can imagine. I use it keep my pens, pencils, scissors, small stuffs and medicines in it. It makes my table tidy. I believe I use Seagate Products more creatively than anyone else. I use everything Seagate give me. I do not just through the packaging box out. I use it.

I own two Seagate Hard Disk. One is the Free Agent Desk 1TB and other is a 500GB Desktop Hard Disk. I have assembled the 500GB one into another External Drive. I mostly do not use it but I am thinking of putting some creative/productive use. Currently I use it for double back-up. Data is valuable. I cannot afford to loose the.
