Ok I will tell all about in details. Now I have told you, IIT is a top Technology Institute. Only some 5000 students are able to enter 7 institutes through one of the toughest entrance exams in the world (you are reading it correct, it is world). But every year some seats are left vacant (which is bad) so they provide opportunity to few students to study in the institute but they have to prove themselves.

The selected students have to take a course called preparatory course. When they pass it, they are directly admitted into the institute as regular students.

Now I was one of the few students to get this opportunity and I could not have left such an opportunity.(Note: I have been given other courses like computer science in other top colleges). IIT is a world class institute. They have to maintain good standards. Only IITs has this method other college and institute just admit students until all seats are filled.
