How To Increase Traffic To A Website

Readers ask me all the time how they can increase traffic to their Websites. The very first thing I usually ask them back is, “Why do you want more Traffic? What is the purpose of your Website? How will getting Traffic benefit you?” You’d be shocked to know how many people don’t know how to benefit from more traffic to their site, yet they still want to know How To Increase Traffic To Website. So, first things first – make sure you have a goal and purpose out of your Website! Usually this purpose is monetizing your Site. Whether it be Google AdSense, Commission Junction or another Affiliate Program, Traffic to your Site is really nothing but an Ego booster unless you have it Monetized in some way.

Second, what are you selling/advertising/recommending? Before you spend time searching for targeted traffic, you need to know what you will be selling and be aware of your competition. This is especially important when it comes to finding a Keyword to market. When choosing Keywords, you want to look for low competition, high converting ones. I recommend using a Money Keyword Research tool such as Keyword Corral. Once you know your Keyword of choice and are confident in your choice, you can start to Market it. A great technique for this is Article Marketing. Write, or have written for you, Articles that are Keyword rich in both the Title and the Content, then submit these Keyword Articles to sites such as Ezine Articles. In your Personal resource box include a link to your Website using your Keywords as an Anchor.

One other thing I often tell people who ask me How To Increase Traffic To Website is that they should use their RSS Feed Marketing. RSS feeds are an excellent way to get your Blog Posts syndicated to other Websites. People can also choose to subscribe to your personal RSS feed if they find it interesting. Which brings me to my next point. Make sure you have a Website with quality content. Remember, your visitors consist of actual Human Beings who come to your Website for a specific purpose. be aware of that reason and make sure you update your content frequently and give your customers valuable information. Never underestimate the power of content. Remember, “If you build it, they will come”.

Last, but not least, look into an SEO, SEM, or other Internet Marketing program. Sure they cost a little, but so does any sort of Education. The tools these programs will give you and the lessons they will teach you are priceless, especially if you are serious about making money on the Internet.

This is the topic so many people struggle with the most. Getting traffic to your website? This is imperative because traffic is the lifeline of any business. This is a great post that was quite informative and thank you for sharing. Including the tips and strategies given in the post above, I have also tried driving targeted traffic to my site by using free Google tools to research and generate highly targeted keywords that I then format into questions. For instance “How do I generate traffic to my site?” After formatting the keywords into questions I then write a 300 to 450 word article built around the question format which I then submit to article directories like goarticles and also post to my blogs. This has proved to drive targeted traffic to my site.

Hi FAS.
Getting traffic coming to your blog is a very important matters and it is not easy to do that. Not every traffic that come to your site is a quality traffic, making your blog having a very high bounce. Like what I experience with entrecard.
Easy traffic doesn’t mean we need to stick to it.
See you around.

RSS is important, but I would prefer to create a mailing list with a program list Aweber as it allows you to let people know about your posts, but also let’s you give them additional information that you may not want to include in blog posts.

Backlinks is still the best way to get a lot of traffic in my view. The more the backlinks, the better in Google serp.

backlinks are a goodway in deed, though getting goodbacklinks is harder than we wanted it to be…
