How To Popularise Your Blog

Looking for ways to make your blog post more popular? The ideal situation would be to have word of mouth advertising because people cannot stop talking about your posts.

Your audience needs to know who you are and be able to remember and recognize you – let them see who you are with your own natural persona. Consider that you will be writing your own stuff for your blog, and so that opens up a lot of doors for you. This basically means that in order to get the right kind of attention to your blog posts, you should be ready to explore your own personality and bring it out in front of your readers. If all else is up to par or better, then your own self will help to do the rest of the job. Find your own voice, but don’t go overboard with it. If you start injecting other qualities into your online personality, then that is your choice but just remember you have to live with it. So there are many alternatives available with your online persona, and they can be powerful if well thought-out.

So do you want to write for SEO purposes or write strictly to your audience? No that isn’t a bad advice, but something that every sane blogger should do if he wants his posts to get popular. However, it is vital to always serve your readers and niche by giving them what they need. Perhaps the best advice is to know what you are doing at all times and realize the consequences of your actions. Your posts need to look like a direct one-to-one conversations with your readers – no exceptions at that. Once you’re done writing a post, you can go back and insert your targeted keywords and optimize it for the search engines, as simple as that.

It is totally common to find lots of bloggers whose visitors do not comment or participate. There can be lots of reasons for this, and perhaps they are not doing something they should be. Do not be shy about telling your readers to do this or that – depending on your most desired response. So simply get in the habit of asking people to take an action. You could even spark lively debate in some way; so give it a try.

Learn as much as possible about blogging and creating content and posts, and that knowledge will be powerful if you use it. Making your post successful/popular is all about knowing where it stands, and giving your readers the best possible value – keep that in mind, always.

Hi FAS,

Some very sane advice this. I am catching on to the art and science of blogging really fast and sparing no efforts at it, these days. Hence, these suggestions are mighty useful, to put it simply.

Except for the bright ochre in your blog’s name, I like your blog very much!

Cheers!

Nikhil
