Did you hear about the new Social Network buzz Likaholix?

Likaholix (sounds a little weird to me) is the new Social Network website creating buzz on internet . It is started by two ex-Google employees, Bindu Reddy who was a group product manager at Google and Arvind Sundararajan who was a senior staff engineer. Likaholix is based on very simple concept. The concept is share and like what you already like. It can be anything. If you like a Book, Movie, Anime, Blog, Website, Music and many more, then just share it with people tell them you like it and why. You just have to search whatever you like, then write some description and share it. I love this concept. It is almost similar to the concept I was thinking about few days ago. Look like someone read my mind.
The social service is hassle free. You just have to sign-up and like whatever your like. If something is not there you just find them and share it. You create a small profile and you can become a “Tastemaker” in two topic by liking 10 thing in those topic. I am already a Tastemaker in two topics ‘websites’ and ‘anime’. Its just fun in there. You are liked by other and you like others. For instance I like Darren Rowse (ProBlogger) and he like me as I signed up through him. You can share your like at Likaholix on Facebook, Twitter and Friendfeed. Below is a screen shot.
Likaholix is currently in closed beta. Only people can join it through invitations. After signing-up I have been given 10 invites. I do not want to waste them by sending it to random persons, so I am going to give these invites to person who are really interested to join this new Social Network. If you are interested just comment here telling me you want to join. Remember its only 10 invites so first 10 can only get it.
Wait it not just that. They are giving 5 Amazon Kindle (I think 350$ worth each) to 5 of the best Likaholix users. What you need to do
- Be a real person. Connect your Likaholix account with your Facebook or Gmail account and at least 10 other people should like you on Likaholix (each beta user will get 10 invites)
- Be among the top 30 Likaholix beta users. The top 30 users will be determined based on activity, popularity and interestingness
- Share your likes on Facebook and/or Twitter
- Impress our judges. Paul Buchheit and Jason Shellen will pick the five winners from the top 30 users

The amazon kindle is only for U.S and Columbia residents, So it is of no use for Indians. So if you wish to join it only for sake of standing a chance to win an amazon kindle then just forget it[if you are not a U.S resident ofcourse].
