OIO Publisher New Improved Version v2.11 Released and 8$ off Discount

OIO Publisher has now a new improved version. The last version was v2.08. The current version is very much improved. Today 20th April, 2009 is the first release of the new version v2.11. I already upgraded my OIO Publisher Plugin.

There of some nice and welcome improvements. There are three visible changes to OIO Publisher.

1. Inclusion of new Payment System

Google checkout, 2checkout.com and Authorize.net is being added to the existing payment system which previously included PayPal and EntreCard payment. It will be useful to many. Now they can accept payment from people who do not use PayPal. Some people prefer other payment system. In future I believe more payment systems will be included.

2. More options for Advertisers

• Support for swf (flash) banners has been added. I am not sure how much it can attract advertisers but now one more format is supported.
• Now there link exchange option for banner / text ad zones. This means if people link to you you can give them Text Ads or Banner Ads for free. Its nice. Now you can setup a link exchange column in your sidebar.
• Now you can put in different AD price according to the AD durations. Before it was put one price for a fixed duration. So I was only able to put Banner ADs at the price of 10$ a Month, but now I can put different prices. I can put 5$ for a week + 7$ for 14 days + 10$ for 30 days + 18$ for 60 days + 50$ for 180 days. You can put any number of variant. You can set an unlimited number of price / duration combos. This is most welcome change for me as from next month I can now provide 7days trial for first time advertiser. Price not yet decided. Currently I am giving my AD banner at a very low price of 10$ a month. The price is going to increase so if you want to advertise here Apply Now.

3. Improved AD purchase page

There is some nice changes to the AD purchase page. Now it looks more soothing to eye. You can add logo to it. I am yet to do it.

Above on left is the screen shots of the older purchase page (not mine, its Jim’s – The Net Fool guy who is conducting a nice Build a Blog Workshop) and on right is the new purchase page (of course mine). The new one is little more detailed showing the supported banner formats. And not to forget you can add you logo. Click the images to see the larger version.
